Balanced cantilever precast segmental. 6 bridges, each with 2 to 6 spans ranging from 37m to 65m. An overhead gantry will be used to erect precast segments by the balanced cantilever method for the four bridges crossing over the existing highway and river.

Minneapolis, MN
(2007-Present)

Balanced cantilever precast segmental using ground-based crane. 6 bridges with typical span lengths of 200 ft. Deck widths ranging from 33’-4” to 45’-4”. Segments are constructed using the shortline precasting method.

Carmel Tunnels
Haifa, Israel
(2006-Present)

Balanced cantilever precast segmental using ground-based crane. 3 bridges, each with a 45m main span and 32m endspans.

Susquehanna
Harrisburg, PA
(2005-2007)

Span-by-span precast segmental using specialized underslung truss. Twin bridges with 40 spans on each bridge, typically 150’ long

I-15 / US 95 Interchange
(Spaghetti Bowl)
Las Vegas, Nevada
(1998-2000)

Span-by-span and Balanced Cantilever precast segmental. 24 + spans ranging from 100’ to 250’. An overhead gantry was used to erect precast segments by both the balanced cantilever and the span-by-span methods for the four bridges crossing over an existing highway.

(1997-1998)

 This project contains 5,929 foot of precast segmental rapid transit structures Built using the span-by-span method.

Skyway Bridge
Oakland, California
(2002-2007)

The Skyway portion of the Oakland Bay Bridge Replacement consists of a dual precast segmental structure measuring 2,103 meters in length with a width of 2x25 meters and precast segments 25 meters wide, 8 meters long and weighing 700 metric tons.

Baldwin Bridge Replacement
Old Saybrook, Old Lyme, Connecticut
(1990-1993)

A 2,522 foot-long precast segmental bridge built with an overhead gantry in balanced cantilever. Segmental box girder was 82’wide with precast struts supporting the center of the slab.
